DESCRIPTION:

The Northwest Territory, which was established in 1787, includes present-day Ohio. After a period of about 16 years, Ohio became a state in 1803. This database contains records of marriages that took place in Ohio between 1803 and 1900. Each record provides the names of both bride and groom, along with the marriage date.
